Breathe, Balance, Belong:

An 8-Week Yoga Program for Emotional Wellbeing. Empowering students with lifelong tools for self-awareness, regulation, and resilience.

This 8-week, school-based yoga program blends gentle movement, breathwork, and mindfulness with child-friendly insights from polyvagal theory to help students build a deeper understanding of their bodies, emotions, and nervous systems.

Each session supports children in recognising how their body feels in different emotional states and introduces practical, age-appropriate strategies to help them feel safe, grounded, and empowered—both in and out of the classroom.

What the program offers:

  • Movement and breath practices to support nervous system regulation.
  • Strengths-based education about emotions and body awareness.
  • An inclusive environment that meets students where they are, to support each child feels recognised, supported, and safe to grow.
  • Tools for building emotional literacy, self-compassion, and resilience.

Grounded in trauma-sensitive, neurodiversity-affirming principles, Breathe, Balance, Belong is designed to enhance students’ capacity to learn, connect, and thrive.
